Verification isn’t an optional badge on Propura — it’s how the marketplace stays trustworthy on both sides.
Before a listing can go live, the seller uploads proof of ownership — a property deed — to their secure Document Vault, and our team reviews it. Until that deed is approved, the listing stays a private draft.
Estate agents, agencies and developers are verified against their professional licence instead, so the people listing on Propura are who they say they are.
Anyone can browse and message a seller. But to make an offer, a buyer first adds a proof of funds or an approval in principle to their own Document Vault. It stays private — a buyer chooses if and when to share it with a seller, directly in the conversation.
This means a seller’s offers come from people who can genuinely proceed, not from idle interest.
Propura verifies the documents provided to confirm ownership and funding. We are a marketplace, not a party to any transaction, and verification does not replace your own due diligence or the work of your solicitor or other professionals.
